Rob Goossens is receiving a lot of criticism for a Christmas joke about Marco Borsato. Some people are really, really angry with the TV critic from RTL Boulevard. “This bastard lives on misery!”
The show media are full of the celebrities’ Christmas miscellany: one eats turkey, another celebrates Christmas with it, another has beautifully set the table and Linda de Mol eats forbidden animals. Naked wallpapering
Leontine had a Christmas dinner with her family, including the acquitted Marco Borsato, and the newspaper made a big splash with the photo of that scene. ‘The Borsato family celebrates Christmas together with a new tradition.’
The headline does not make it clear what that tradition is, and that is why RTL Boulevard critic Rob Goossens fills in the details. He jokingly writes on his X-page: “Nude wallpapering?”
Plague punch
Obviously a tease that refers to the bizarre fornication case against Marco – he accused his complainant and her mother of being naked – but not everyone appreciates that.
Rob is really bombarded with comments. “You shouldn’t do this, even at Christmas? Too bad I had sympathy for you for a long time, it’s crumbling,” says Anja.
He then said: “It’s a joke, Anja.”
Kitchen window
There are also people who, like Rob, explain what new tradition the Borsatootjes would have. “Pull a sweater by the kitchen window?” says a certain Maarten.
