Pate Mustajärvi is dead.
Musician Pate Mustajärvi aka Pauli Antero Mustajärvi has died on December 26 at the age of 69. The death notice has been published on his official Instagram account.
The cause of death has not been announced, but the musician said in October that a tumor was found in him.

– Now it has happened, when I recently broke my rib, at the same time a tumor was found in my body, which turned out to be relatively sly in nature, Mustajärvi wrote.
At the same time, he said he was canceling his upcoming gigs.
– The treatments to tame it will start right away, but since recovery requires time and peace, I unfortunately have to cancel all the gigs announced so far. At the same time, these social media channels of mine will be silent for the time being.
In November, the musician confirmed that it was a cancerous tumor.
– Cancer’s devil threw a little curveball at the concert plans, but while on sick leave, there is plenty of time to write, Mustajärvi stated on Instagram.
When writing, Mustajärvi referred to his biography. He and his spouse Tina Finn have written Testament-biography (Docendo), which is scheduled to be published in June. The fate of the book’s publication is still open for now.
He said that he started planning the book in January because he would have turned 70 next year.
– A few acquaintances, colleagues, friends and relatives were asked to share their own memories of my career and life. Of course, in this book I also tell about my post-Popeda period and life events, Mustajärvi writes.
