Mourning in German football. Footballer Sebastian Hertner died in a mountain accident at the age of 34. The club of which he was captain, Etsv Hamburgom, fifth series, announced it on its social channels. According to initial reconstructions, Hertner was on holiday in the Savin Kuk ski area, in northern Montenegro, when the chairlift detached from the cable, hit the rear and the footballer fell from a height of around 70 metres, dying instantly. His wife was at his side, a witness to the incident, who was reached by emergency services only after several hours. The woman, in shock, suffered a broken leg. The plant was closed immediately and the Montenegrin judicial authorities launched an investigation to ascertain responsibility.
