Ski Aggu spontaneously traveled to Australia to give his body some rest. The rumor mill is bubbling because the reasons for the German rapper’s surprising break and the identity of the travel companion have so far remained unclear. Could this be ex-partner Ikkimel?
The 28-year-old surprisingly announced on Instagram that he was taking a break from music, which already seems to be in full swing. The rapper recently ended his collaboration with his long-standing label Bamboo Artists, and other stars followed. According to “Spiegel” research, the managing director Leander Kirschner was accused of exercising psychological violence and crossing boundaries against his artists.
With the screenshot, which Ski Aggu appeared to have written in a note-taking app, he told his 525,000 followers on Instagram that now was the time to “listen to my body and put the microphone away for an indefinite period of time.” He is not more specific about the reasons for his announced break.

The statement slide was followed by a photo on Instagram in which the rapper stands on the side of the road like a hitchhiker with his thumbs up; a kangaroo can be seen in the background. On the third and final slide, the Berlin native tears off his ski goggles – which have become his trademark throughout his career – and runs into the sea wearing a T-shirt and shorts. Maybe a sign that he’s serious about the rest period?
