FC Bayern wins the last game of the year and thus secures the first half of the season title. Two players are particularly impressive.

Vincent Kompany went into the dressing room elated and clapped his hands with satisfaction, his players were celebrated by their fans: At the end of the year, FC Bayern Munich impressively underlined its supremacy despite the great shortage of personnel and secured the “Autumn Championship” ahead of schedule. The dominant Munich team deservedly won 4-0 (2-0) against relegation candidate 1. FC Heidenheim and, after the mandatory win, they are setting their sights on their big goals in 2026. Goal scorer Harry Kane had said before the game that they wanted to “win all the big trophies”.

Josip Stanišić put Bayern on the path to success and a record in the 15th minute. Michael Olise increased before the break (32′), shortly before the end Luis Díaz (86′) and Kane (90’+2) scored. All four goal scorers earned good ratings, two of them even received the top grade. You can read the complete individual review from t-online here or in the photo show above.

The Munich team takes a whopping nine point lead over Dortmund into the short winter break. Coach Kompany’s team also remained undefeated in their 16th away game of the year. With now 55 goals after 15 match days, the high-flyers also have their sights set on the season’s record from 1971/72 (102).

“This was a great year, we have a good spirit and energy in the team,” said Kane at DAZN: “Now we are already looking forward to the new year.” The English striker now has 100 goal involvements after 78 league games – this is of course a record. “We deserved to win,” said sports director Max Eberl: “In March and April, when it comes to the trophies, we want to be ready.” The Munich team starts the second half of the season with a home game on January 11th against VfL Wolfsburg.
