Dome Prevc failed to rise Janne Ahonen and Matti Hautamäki as a club to the shared top spot in the all-time winning streak.

The Slovenian, who is currently dominating the Hill Jumping World Cup, finished second in Sunday’s Suurmäki competition in Engelberg. At the same time, the man’s five-race winning streak was broken.

Prevc led the race after the opening lap, but Japan’s Ryoyu Kobayashi edged ahead in the second round by 3.6 points. Germany took third place Felix Hoffmann.

Thus, Ahonen and Hautamäki get to share the top spot in the all-time statistics together by Thomas Morgenstern, by Gregor Schlierenzauer and with Kobayashi. Both of the Finnish golden eagles achieved their winning streak in the 2004–05 season.

The Finns of the competition Niko Kytösaho was 16. and Antti Aalto 20’s
