Mahdi lashes out at Demir’s plan to abolish pedagogical study days: “Insinuations that teachers are twiddling their fingers must stop”

CD&V chairman Sammy Mahdi reacts satisfied to the European decision not to release the frozen Russian assets. In VTM NIEUWS he emphasized on Sunday that the broad political support in Belgium was exceptional. He was less enthusiastic about the plan of Flemish Minister of Education Zuhal Demir (N-VA) to cut back on certain days off at school. He argued for less administrative burden and more respect for teachers as a solution to the problems in education.
