National ice hockey player Moritz Seider led the Detroit Red Wings to an important victory in the fight for the play-off places in the NHL. The 2023 runner-up contributed a goal and an assist to the 5-2 win at the Washington Capitals.
With the sixth win in the last eight games, Detroit maintained its lead in the Atlantic Division.
But the field is close together: only three points separate the Red Wings from a place outside the playoffs. Seider first prepared James van Riemsdyk’s 2-0 (22nd minute), then he scored himself to make it 4-0 (31st minute).
With five goals and 21 assists, the 24-year-old is on track to surpass his best season result so far from his first season in 2021/22 (50 scorer points).
