The Düsseldorf-based e-commerce group The Platform Group AG (TPG) announced on Friday the majority acquisition of Fulda-based 43halb GmbH. It was agreed not to disclose the purchase price; the transaction is scheduled to be completed in January 2026.
43halb is a B2C platform for high-quality fashion and sneaker items and stocks products from brands such as Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Asics, Veja, Salomon and other 46 labels. The range includes several thousand items; logistics and connections are carried out via a central warehouse in Fulda. The average shopping cart is 145 euros.
According to Bjoern Minnier, Head of M&A at The Platform Group, 43halb complements the company’s existing consumer goods segment with young, high-priced fashion. The products can be easily linked to the existing platforms, marketing can be bundled and there is a chance of attracting new brands to the TPG platforms.
The managing directors of 43halb, Oliver Baumgart and Mischa Krewer, were also satisfied: “We are pleased to be taking the next development step with TPG and profitably expanding the sales volume. We now want to use the shared potential in marketing, software and platforms.”
