What little we have been able to see of Antonio Vergara so far has been liked and has caught the attention of those who were midfielders. An aspect that in itself is a source of satisfaction. Napoli believes in his talent, but at the same time is aware that it is not able to guarantee him the continuity necessary to definitively establish himself in Serie A. The decision to let Vergara leave seems like a paradox, considering the important emergency that Napoli is going through in the department, where Anguissa, De Bruyne and Gilmour are missing. However, it is already established that the Azzurri will intervene with another incoming addition, which could be Mainoo if some obstacles in the negotiation with Manchester United are resolved. It cannot be ruled out that there could be two arrivals, so as to have a staff equipped to support the various competitions until there are some returns.
