The match between Atlético Nacional and Independiente Medellín, valid for the Copa Colombia final, degenerated into a series of violent clashes between rival fans inside and outside the Atanasio Girardot stadium. After the final whistle and the explosion of frustration over DIM’s defeat, organized groups invaded the pitch and confronted the police.
