Biathlon World Cup Annecy competitions start on Thursday with the women’s 7.5 kilometer sprint race.
The competition, which starts at 3:15 p.m., will see a strong Finnish quartet, which has performed promisingly in the early season.
Venla Lehtonen start with number 14 at 15:22, Sonja Leinamo with number 38 at 15:34, Inka Hämäläinen with number 40 at 15:35 and Suvi Minkkinen with number 46 at 15:38.
After five races, Minkkinen is the best Finn in the World Cup overall, sixth.
