We asked the largest cosmetics stores in Finland for the best-selling products of 2025. The purchases show both loyalty to old favorites and enthusiasm for new products.
The Veloide brand’s scalp oil has conquered the Finns.
Cosmetics chain Lyko’s best-selling product in Finland this year is a real surprise: Veloiden Hair Asap Scalp Oil (28.50 e).
The product became the most popular product in just nine months, as it went on sale at Lyko at the end of February, the cosmetics chain says. So far, 17,500 units of the product have been sold.
Veloide is a domestic novelty brand that is still quite unknown to many. However, the brand’s scalp oil has achieved great popularity on the social platform Tiktok.
The product promises, among other things, to moisturize the scalp, strengthen the hair and give it shine.

Tavaratalo Stockmann’s best-selling cosmetic product this year has been Clinique’s Lash Power Mascara (34 e) in black.
Mascara has a loyal customer base, as it was also Stockmann’s single best-selling cosmetic product last year.
Markets are everyday shopping places for Finns, and cosmetics are often included on shopping trips. K-citymarket and Prisma did not reveal which individual cosmetic product was the best-seller, but gave a list of the most popular products.
At K-Citymarket, many people grab the domestic Lumene CC make-up cream (19.90 e) in their shopping basket. On the most popular list are also Lumena’s nourishing and moisturizing night cream and nourishing and moisturizing day cream from the Klassikko line, which have a price of 10 euros.
Other favorites have been Maybelline’s Lash Sensational Sky High mascara (e14.90) and Essence’s Juicy Bomb lip glosses (e1.60). The most popular version of the lip glosses has been the seasonal product Spooky Bomb, which has a ghost’s head as the cap.
Tens of thousands of all these products have been sold, some more than 100,000, says Kesko’s communications.
Prisma’s list of the ten most popular cosmetic products includes, among others, the Very Fine Finnish shampoo and the blueberry shampoo of the same brand. Classic shampoos cost around 1.90 euros.
The list also includes two Garnier cloth face masks: Moisture Bomb and Moisture Bomb for dry skin (2 e).
The cloth mask intended for dry skin has been the best-selling cosmetic product this year also in S-markets and Salei and Aleppo, as well as the Very Fine Finnish shampoo.
In addition to these, individual lip creams have been popular in the stores of the S chain.
