Checco Zalone has already served his most irreverent Christmas gift to unified networks to anticipate the release in theaters, on December 25th, of his highly anticipated new film Good Camino. At 9pm sharp, the comedian interrupted the normal Mediaset programming for launch the video clip of Inflamed prostatea hilarious parody from the Latin rhythm on one of the most delicate themes for the male sphere. More than just a promo, it was a real one «message to the nation» in which Zalone, with his unmistakable style, mocked the institutions to announce his return to cinema.

The debut was brilliant: «If you don’t like me, change the channel, I’m always there anyway…. it had never happened to anyone… oh Mattarella?”. With this joke, Checco Zalone justified the simultaneous occupation of channels such as Canale 5, Italia 1 and Rete 4, admitting with shrewd honesty the commercial intent of the operation: «Dear Italians, good evening and Christmas greetings to everyone. I know, some malicious person will think: this guy is here advertising the film that comes out on December 25th… You made a good slander.».

The heart of the video is the new song Inflamed prostatedefined by the comedian as a tribute to female patience. “I give a gift to you women, and to the patience you have when you as a man have… an inflamed prostate,” he declared before the images of the clip started playing. Between an obligatory stop at the Autogrill and the story of the urologist’s table, Zalone in the “Joaquin Cortison” version sings the drama of the modern male with verses destined to go viral: “I won’t tell you how much I cried and the urologist laughed as he took off his glove”. A brilliant marketing stunt that prepares the ground for the new film directed by Gennaro Nunziante.
