Willem Vos worked steadily on his oeuvre for years, often visible outside the Netherlands and less often ‘just around the corner’. The artist from Dieverbrug has so far mainly exhibited in Germany, Austria, Belgium and China. This spring he will turn it around with a home game. “And that is more exciting than you think. Abroad you are ‘the artist’. In your own village you are also just Willem, or Wim.”
