Iltalehti reported earlier today, Tuesday, that Miss Suomi From Sarah Dzafce a criminal complaint was filed last week Wednesday. According to the announcement, the ex-miss disparaged Chinese and Asians by posing with her eyes stretched out in the picture taken by her friend.
The police decided that there is no reason to suspect a crime in the case and to start a preliminary investigation.
Selänne commented on the news in Iltalehti’s Instagram post. The comment starts with three laughing emoticons, after which Selänne gives his opinion.
– Or that I should file a criminal complaint… Oh, that I can’t stop laughing… stop the hell with grinding the skeida, so it’s incomprehensible that a small humorous story is turned into such an absurd joke, Selänne wrote.

Dzafce had to give up her Miss crown when a photo of her went viral.
In the picture, Dzafce pulls the corners of his eyes crooked with his fingers with the accompanying words “eating with a Chinese”. The picture has been interpreted as racist towards Asians.
Dzafce had to give up his crown, but several Perusfinnish politicians stood up to support him by publishing pictures of themselves stretching their eyes in the same way as Dzafce.
The pictures have been covered in numerous major Asian magazines and communication services. The tone has been less flattering for Finland. Finland and Finns have received a lot of criticism and even accusations of racism towards Asians.
