The debut in the world of competitions dates back to 1975, with the supply by Brembo of the first single cast iron discs Scuderia Ferrari returned to win, after eleven years, the world championship Formula 1 with Niki Lauda and the 312 T. Since then (the first success, which came in the month of May, with the Austrian driver on the Montecarlo street circuit, was historic) the Bergamo group has constantly evolved to the point of transforming itself into an even richer industrial reality, with the milestone of the first fifty years of activity in the world of motorsport which was also celebrated with the passing of over a thousand world titles. A result achieved thanks to the work done by more than 16 thousand peoplewith 4,150 patents and a rich portfolio of brands (the latest acquisition is that of Öhlinswith its advanced technology for suspensions in the sports sector, for cars and motorbikes, which has been added – among others – to Bybreto Ap Racinga Sbs Frictiona Marchesini ea J.Juan) which offer a decisive contribution to company growth.

In a year full of successes 60 world titles conquered in 2025), Brembo he literally dominated the world championship of Formula 1. On the team’s double McLarenwinner of the drivers’ titles (with Lando Norris) and Manufacturers (the contribution of Oscar Piastri) there is the signature of AP Racinga British company specialized in the development and production of brake calipers and clutches. Clear supremacy also in MotoGP (where, moreover, the group held the role of title sponsor of the Italian Grand Prix held at Mugello), with the ninth world title of a rediscovered Marc Marquez who, riding his Desmosedici GP25 of Ducati Lenovo Team equipped with braking system Brembowheels Marchesinisuspensions Öhlins and frictions AP Racinghas literally crushed the competition. The acrobatic Turkish rider of the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSbk team proved uncatchable for everyone on his M 1000 RR equipped with a braking system Brembo and suspensions Öhlins. In the year in which (at least) a world title returned to Maranello, Brembo he also held the role of Braking Technology Partner from the 24 Hours of Le Mans won for the third consecutive year by one Ferrari 499P (specifically, in this case, the number 83 of Af Corse entrusted to Robert Kubica, Yifei Ye And Phil Hanson), with the supply of at least one component to all sixty-two cars entered, from hypercars to LMP2 and LMGT3), with a presence in the world of Endurance that is not limited to Fia Wec but which also extends overseas with the role of technological partner ofImsa. Finally, the company confirmed its leading role also in the world of rallies and off-road.
