Drangsal will tour six cities in September & December 2026. “Harieschaim” is played in its entirety. ME presents.

To mark the anniversary of their debut album “Harieschaim”, Drangsal has announced a tour with their band through six German cities. The concerts will take place in September and December 2026.

Debut album was released ten years ago

The album “Harieschaim” was released in 2016 and initially spread via SoundCloud. The debut of Max Gruber, who was still a solo artist at the time, took up the post-punk and wave of the 1980s. Artists like Edwin Rosen and Flawless Issues say they refer to this very record. The ME review read, among other things: “Party like it’s 1984: Drangsal’s wave-pop is a masterpiece of staging. Just don’t scratch the surfaces.”

After “Harieschaim,” Gruber released three more studio albums. The last one so far (but then with a tape!) is entitled “No phoenix has ever risen from any of my bridges that lie in ashes” and was published in June 2025.

Album is performed in its entirety for the first time

At the six announced concerts, “Harieschaim” will be played live in its entirety for the first time. Drangsal, as I said, has now formed a band, performing in Hanover, Cologne, Hamburg, Berlin, Leipzig and Düsseldorf.

The supporting program is the Die Mausis project, consisting of Max Gruber and Stella Sommer from Die Heiterheit.
