Battle Beast’s soloist Noora Louhimo is leaving the band. Louhimo was in the band for 13 years.

According to the release, Louhimo wants to focus on his solo career.

– For 13 years, I was able to grow, learn, develop and explore who I am as a musician and as a person with Battle Beast. Now my heart longs for more adventures and flying on my own wings towards my dreams, which I can only pursue if I give them my full attention, says Louhimo on the band’s Facebook page.

– While we are saddened by his departure, we fully support his decision to pursue new creative paths, something he has not been able to explore wholeheartedly due to the demanding schedule of Battle Beast, the rest of the band members write.

The band will announce its new soloist tomorrow.

Battle Beast, also popular abroad, is nominated at the Emma Gala in the Metal Album of the Year category.
