After the temporary exit from the Vancouver Canucks, the German national ice hockey player Lukas Reichel continues in the farm team.

No other club took action after the 23-year-old was placed on the waiver list by the NHL team from Canada on Saturday.

Reichel will initially play in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Abbotsford Canucks.

Reichel came to the Canucks from the Chicago Blackhawks in October and has had a difficult time there since his transfer.

The striker managed just one assist in 14 games.

The last time he was on the ice for the Canucks was on November 28th. In Abbotsford, Reichel can now recommend a return to Vancouver.
