The emergency services were called in Hoogeveen this evening around 7.30 pm due to a possible gas leak in a store on Hoofdstraat. The street was partly closed off by the organization and security.
Due to the City Light Festival, which takes place in the center this weekend, the location is more difficult to reach for the emergency services.
The fire brigade has now turned off the gas tap.
