High-scoring Saturday in the Bundesliga. However, with a bad outcome for HSV and Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Heavy defeat for Hamburger SV: The Hamburg team lost 4-1 to 1899 Hoffenheim on Saturday afternoon. Last week’s narrow derby victory against Werder Bremen (3:2) was intended to provide a boost to quieter times in terms of sport. Grischa Prömel (8th), Ozan Kabak (31st), Tim Lemperle (65th) and Fisnik Asllani (72nd) scored Hoffenheim’s fully deserved victory. Rayan Philippe scored in the 82nd minute to make it 1:4, but missed a penalty in stoppage time (90th+1) for HSV. Hoffenheim is now fourth, Hamburg slips to 14th place.

Eintracht Frankfurt also celebrated an important victory. With a narrow 1-0 win against FC Augsburg, the Frankfurters remain within sight of the top places in the table. Ritsu Doan scored the golden goal (68th).
