Forget the bus, here’s the funicular: téléphérique is set to revolutionize Parisian public transport

A cable car has been launched in the southeastern suburbs of Paris to move residents faster. French media report that the journey by cable car from Villeneuve-Saint-Georges to the terminus of metro line 8 in Créteil takes just 18 minutes. There are five stops. The trip takes at least 40 minutes by bus.
