Francken responds to Rutte’s warning: “Russians will not just walk in, they will face great resistance”

The NATO countries “stand ready” to repel a possible attack from Russia. This is the opinion of Minister of Defense Theo Francken (N-VA). He is responding to strong statements by NATO boss Mark Rutte earlier today. During a speech in the German capital Berlin, Rutte declared that Europe is “Russia’s next target”.
