All day tickets and 2-day tickets are now for sale. Normally sales don’t start until February. “With such a great first batch of names, we want to give everyone the opportunity to immediately choose the ticket that suits them best,” says festival director Bavo Vanden Broeck.
VAT rate of 6%
“Past editions have always been completely sold out with no fewer than 55,000 festival goers. Ticket sales will probably continue to go quickly now. Because the government is introducing a VAT increase on festival tickets. But until that happens, the rate will remain at 6% instead of 12%. So tickets are currently almost 6% cheaper than they will be in a few months. If you want to be sure of the best rate, it is best not to wait too long.”
