Various car manufacturers are removing classics, small cars and sports models from their range.
Many manufacturers are tidying up their model ranges. Several well-known series will be phased out in 2025 and 2026 – from compact cars to sports models. The reasons are clear: stricter EU regulation, falling demand for combustion engines, high CO2 costs and the focus on more profitable electric platforms.
The top 14 discontinued models are presented in this ranking.

3rd place: Audi Q8 e-tron
Despite the 2023 model update, Audi will stop production in 2025. Falling demand, competition from the Q6 e-tron and the closure of the factory in Brussels seal the end.
