Sharon says that Ozzy had passed out in the toilet at night. At half past five, Ozzy woke his wife. Sharon replied that she had already woken up.
– Kiss me. Hug me tight, Ozzy had told his wife.

Sharon says that Ozzy used to work out early in the morning despite his numerous illnesses. Also on the morning of his death, Ozzy had woken up and gone downstairs to the gym of his mansion.
Moments later, Sharon heard a scream, rushed to her husband’s side and found Ozzy dead in the gym. Sharon cried out inconsolable seeing her husband lifeless.
– He had a heart attack. I ran downstairs and there he was. They tried to revive him and I told them to leave him, Sharon tells her friend Piers Morgan.
– I knew right away that he was gone. They tried and tried, then they helicoptered him to the hospital and tried. I thought let him be, he’s gone.
According to Sharon, Ozzy understood that the end was near.
– He knew. He was ready, Sharon says.

Ozzy Osbourne made his last appearance on the concert stage just two weeks before his death. According to Sharon, Ozzy was in bad health, and the doctors had warned that he would not survive the concert. Ozzy decided to do the concert regardless.
– He knew that his body was failing him. He was in so much pain. He had three bouts of pneumonia this year. He had blood poisoning.
