Saudi Arabia Pro League CEO Omar Mugharbel, in his statement at the World Football Summit, touched upon the possibility of Liverpool’s Egyptian world star Mohamed Salah playing in the Saudi Arabian League.
“A star like Salah is of course welcome in the Saudi league, but the responsibility for negotiating with the players lies with the clubs,” Mugharbel said.
Citing Mohamed Salah, who is also on Galatasaray’s transfer list, as one of the prominent names for the Saudi League, Mugharbel also said, “There are star players we hope will come to the league. Salah is definitely one of them.”
