After four wins in a row, the Eintracht Frankfurt footballers had a pitch-black day against FC Bayern.

The Eintracht Frankfurt women suffered a clear home game defeat on Sunday. In the end it was 0:5 from the Hessians’ perspective against autumn champions FC Bayern.

Birthday girl Klara Bühl (12th), double packer Jovana Damnjanovic (45th/48th), Pernille Harder (45th + 2) and Alara (67th) ensured clear conditions on the Main. After four unbeaten league games in a row, the SGE suffered another defeat and failed to push Bayer Leverkusen out of fourth place in the table.

Anyomi hits the crossbar

Bayern immediately took control of the game in the Brentanobad stadium and put coach Niko Arnautis’ team under pressure. After a nice pass from DFB teammate Linda Dallmann, Bühl took the lead on her 25th birthday through the legs of Frankfurt goalkeeper Lina Altenburg. The Munich team were lucky in the 24th minute when Nicole Anyomi’s header hit the crossbar.

But Bayern didn’t let that bother them, they continued to push for the next goal – and were rewarded with a double strike before the break. Despite the clear lead, the championship leader continued to press the accelerator. Damnjanovic with her second goal and Alara increased the score further.
