Beşiktaş Club reacted to the referee management after the Gaziantep FK match and called on the TFF

Beşiktaş’s statement is as follows:

Statement from our club

Kadir Sağlam, the referee of the match our team played against Gaziantep FK in the Trendyol Super League, and VAR referee Halil Umut Meler, known for his hostility towards Beşiktaş, had a direct impact on the score of the match with their disgraceful management.

The VAR team, which caused our opponent to take the lead because they were incapable of even drawing an offside line, for some reason could not clear the penalty in the position where our football player Jota Silva was down in the penalty area due to the intervention of his opponent.

The referee of the match, Kadir Sağlam, used his discretion in favor of the opponent throughout the match and remained indifferent to the opponent’s strategy of cooling off the game.

Participating in a live broadcast of a television channel a few days ago, Turkish Football Federation President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu said, “They have found a village without dogs, they are wandering around without a stick. As soon as I return, I will settle accounts with everyone and do what is necessary.”

We ask Mr. Hacıosmanoğlu;

Who found a village without dogs?

Who are those who wander around without a stick in the village they found without dogs?

You said, “I will deal with these as soon as I return.” When will you settle accounts?

You said, “I will do what is necessary.” What exactly will you do?

We invite Hacıosmanoğlu to answer our questions immediately, and answering is not enough, we invite you to take immediate action for the future of Turkish football.
