The Danish clothing retailer Rains has strengthened its presence in Germany. On Monday, the outerwear specialist announced the opening of its new store in Hamburg.
In the center of the Hanseatic city, the brand now uses premises with an area of 160 square meters at Gerhofstrasse 2-8. In addition to the typical jackets and coats, Rains also offers products from other categories such as knitwear, bags and accessories.
Daniel Brix Hesselager, the founder of Rains, who has also led the company as CEO since Steen Borgholm’s departure, emphasized the importance of the new opening. “We are pleased to implement our new retail design concept at a fourth location,” he said in a statement. “This opening sets the pace for 2026 as we aim for further growth with two additional store openings planned in the first quarter and a strategy that puts retail at the heart of the business.”
