After Google, which released the ranking of the most frequent requests addressed to the search engine in 2025, Amazon’s assistant also publishes its list, photographing a wide variety of trending topics that characterized the year in Italy.
From Carlo Conti’s height to the value of Bitcoin: here’s what we asked Alexa in 2025
On the one hand, we looked up at the sky and asked her “How far is the moon from the Earth?”, “How tall is the Eiffel Tower?” and “How many people populate the Earth?”. On the other hand, our attention went back down to everyday life and to the Hamlet-like doubt: “How long to cook a hard-boiled egg?”. To address economic issues. And then: “What is the value of Bitcoin?”. To complete the picture, the magical imagery typical of the winter season: “Where does Santa Claus live?”.
At the top of the list of the most frequently asked questions about famous people are: “How tall is Carlo Conti?”. “Who is Jeff Bezos married to?” and (at the top of requests this year as in 2024) “What is Elon Musk’s net worth?” But 2025 has seen growing interest in Marcella Bella, Eleonora Giorgi, Roberto Benigni and Michelle Hunziker.

From Olly to Little heartson the La Zanzara podcast
On the musical front, Olly debuts directly in first place as the most listened to artist via Alexa and Amazon Music, while Cuoricini, by the now former duo Coma Cose, is the most requested song of the year, not surprisingly one of the most loved hits of 2025. The world of podcasts closes the picture: the leader is La Zanzara, a daily event that intercepts debates and current events.
Moving from music to sport, questions about football are the most popular, followed by those regarding Formula 1 and tennis. Users’ attention was also focused on some of the great protagonists of the football scene, looking for curiosities and information: Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in the lead.
