The Public Prosecution Service wants to give the Dutchman corporal punishment in addition to a long prison sentence of 8 years, reports the medium Radar Badung, and make him suffer considerably financially. “I want him to pay a fine of 1 billion rupiah,” the prosecutor said at the Denpasar court, which is the equivalent of more than 50,000 euros.

A German was also arrested who was said to be an accomplice of the Dutchman. He has since made statements after our compatriot had mentioned his name. That immediately put RP himself in a difficult position, because the German no longer felt compelled to keep his mouth shut.
