Gianluca Grignani returned to the matter during the press conference which presented the restyling of his work, claiming ownership of it. «I shouldn’t say it, but it is the most listened to Italian song in the world on Spotify, among other things in my version», the singer pointed out when speaking about My story in your fingers.
«A song that has become a collective heritage», which over the years has had many different interpreters and reinterpretations: «There is a punk version, a reggae, Vanoni also made her own version, and I have never said absolutely anything». The friction with Laura Pausini arose from the changes made to the song: «Laura Pausini simply made the mistake of don’t make me listen to the song and change the lyrics, from the first to the third person, changing the meaning.
