‘Cent index’ negates 15 percent indexation in the private sector, 25 percent in the public sector

The federal government’s “penny index” wipes out 15 percent of the indexation of wages in the private sector, and 25 percent in the public sector. Minister of Economy David Clarinval (MR) said this on Thursday during the plenary meeting in Parliament. The core cabinet normally meets again on Friday to work out the measure in detail.
