A number of young people in Uden have thrown gravel and stones from a footbridge on the Rondweg at passing cars several times in recent weeks. The police are now raising the alarm and urgently calling on social media to stop this dangerous action: “This is not mischief, but life-threatening behavior and punishable!”

In recent weeks, the police received several reports of cars damaged by pebbles. Miraculously, no injuries have been reported so far, but the police emphasize that it could have ended differently. “Are you the one doing this, stop immediately!”, officers make a fierce appeal on social media.

To flee
The incidents are said to take place mainly in the evening on the footbridge between the Music District and the Bernhoven hospital. After throwing the stones, the young people would immediately run away in the direction of the Music District. According to the officers, there are about three young suspects.

In the coming weeks, officers will keep an extra close eye on the situation around the bridge, they said in the message.
