Herald Adolfs, the fiancée of Carlo Boszhard, disagrees with Johan Derksen when it comes to the wolf that was shot on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. “People are not above animals!”

A wolf has been shot dead on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, but it is unclear whether it is actually the problem wolf Bram. That wolf bit a woman and a little boy, among others, and that is why the judge gave permission to shoot that animal. DNA research must now show whether it is the right wolf.

‘Will be a disaster!’

Because it is not certain that the problem wolf Bram was shot dead, the advice remains in force to avoid the forests and other nature reserves on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug.

Several animal organizations were strongly against killing Bram, but the country’s most important opinion maker Johan Derksen actually thinks it is a good thing. “It will be a disaster in the Netherlands,” he says Today Inside from yesterday.

Spread law

Johan is really annoyed by it. “They are still holding it back, but I read, for example, that one wolf can walk through Drenthe, Friesland and Groningen in one night. It can travel that many kilometers, so those wolves will soon be all over the Netherlands. As long as there is food for them.”

Table guest Wierd Duk: “That will be a dispersal law for the wolf.”

Wilfred Genee: “Yes, that’s almost what it comes down to!”

Herald critical

Herald Adolfs, Carlo Boszhard’s fiancée, turns fiercely against Johan. He quits Instagram: “Why do people always think that they are above the animals? Shooting them can never be the solution? We don’t do that with people who are a nuisance, so why with animals in their own habitat? Who is the bad wolf here?”

He concludes: “Someone sent this and I thought it was striking: animalsrich vs humanstupid.”
