Poo in the cells and punishments in ‘the box’: report warns of horrific conditions in US detention centers

Poop from the toilets leaks into the dormitories, there is not enough food, the water is of poor quality and those who are punished are inhumanely tied hand and foot in a cage. These are the conclusions of a shocking report by Amnesty International on two detention centers in Florida, US. The governor calls it ‘fabrication’, but according to Amnesty, prisoners structurally suffer under inhumane conditions.
