Stock salt enough

We are counting on code orange, which means that all approach roads will be sprinkled and all bicycle paths will also be closed. in brine,” explains Nils Vanantwerpen, Spatial Director of Roeselare.
Temperatures on the coast alone would be two degrees above freezing tonight. In most municipalities, the gritting services are available from October 1 to April 1. They can count on one hand the number of days they had to drive out this winter to spread salt and brine. There is still plenty of road salt in stock. “We have had a very calm winter, there are still enough supplies. Tonight we will spread between 10,000 kg and 20,000 kg of salt,” says Nils.
