However, there is one supporter in the stadium this afternoon: the terminally ill Ajax fan Peter is allowed to attend the Ajax match.
Peter’s last wish is to see Ajax play football one more time. He was at the stadium on Sunday, but had to be evacuated when the fireworks went off. This literally seemed to make his last wish go up in smoke. Due to his health, today’s match is the last chance to make his wish come true.
