The supermarkets have plenty of green talk, but according to a critical report they do not always live up to it. For example, they promise to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, but in practice little comes of this. At some supermarkets, emissions are actually increasing. There are also bright spots, such as the sustainable recipes from Lidl and a ban on meat offers from Jumbo.
