After the sixth consecutive defeat, 400 excited people awaited the team at the training centre: the two players filed a complaint, the club rested them
They waited for them at the training centre, on their return from Lorient, where Nice lost once again on Sunday evening. First they insulted them and then also beat them up. Jeremi Boga and Terem Moffi in particular paid the price for the fury of the fans, who filed a complaint and were forced to rest by the club which condemned the incident.
CRISIS
—
It all started via social media. After the 3-1 defeat by Nice in Brittany, the groups of ultras met at the training centre, where the players had to collect their respective cars. When the club bus arrived at the venue, there were more than 400 fans waiting for them. According to initial reconstructions, insults were flown against sporting director Florian Maurice. It got worse for the two attackers, who were physically attacked. Boga and Moffi have therefore decided to file a complaint and will not be available until Friday and Sunday respectively, following the company’s decision. Nice, already beaten on Thursday in the Europa League by Farioli’s Porto, is in the midst of a results crisis, with six consecutive defeats recorded from November 1st onwards. Too much for the ultras who wanted to shake up the team, but who sang chants of support for Fraioli’s heir, Franck Haise who on Thursday said he was willing to leave the bench. On Sunday, Nice, tenth with 17 points, hosts Angers.
