Homegrown player Friedrich Müller has signed a professional contract with Dynamo Dresden. The U-national player celebrated his second division debut just a few days ago.
Dynamo Dresden has awarded his talent Friedrich Müller a professional contract. The 19-year-old signed the working paper on Saturday, one day before Sunday’s game against Fortuna Düsseldorf.
Since 2018, Müller, who can play in defensive midfield and on the left side of defense, has been through the Black and Yellows’ youth academy. Most recently he was a permanent member of the club’s newly formed U21 team (10 games, 1 goal in the Saxony League). He made his debut in the second division in a 2-1 win at Bochum on November 21st.
Head coach Thomas Stamm explained: “Friedrich has already been part of our team in recent training camps and at certain points in the training weeks. He was able to continuously develop and adapt better and better to the demands of the professional field. He has excellent physicality for his young age and is therefore already at a very good level physically.”
The 1.85 meter tall defensive player has already appeared four times for the German U18 national team. “I’m proud and of course happy that I can take the next step here at Dynamo,” said Müller when signing his contract.
