Russia’s Baikonur rocket launch base in Kazakhstan was damaged by the launch of a Soyuz spacecraft. This was announced by the Russian space organization Roscosmos. The spacecraft itself suffered no damage and was able to dock with the ISS without any problems. The launch vehicle is the only Russian platform that can send people into space.
