Prime Minister Dick Schoof has asked the President of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bio, for the extradition of drug criminal Jos Leijdekkers from Breda, better known as ‘Bolle Jos’. The outgoing Prime Minister confirmed this after reporting from the AD.

The fugitive criminal was discussed on Monday during a brief meeting between Schoof and Bio during a top meeting in Angola. It is unclear how the president responded to the request.

The Netherlands has been asking for Bolle Jos’ extradition for some time. According to reports from Sierra Leone and the Netherlands, he is also personally involved with the president’s family, but no official details are known about this.

Leijdekkers has already been convicted several times in the Netherlands and Belgium. In the Netherlands he still has to spend 24 years in prison.
