Trauma therapy helps
On that day Josh an altercation with a guest, who is annoying to a waitress. The man, in his late twenties, returns after hours with his father. When Jos and Annelies leave their business, they push Jos back inside and almost beat him to death.
Now, almost two years later, the consequences are still great.
Ons Ding was closed for about six months, but even now Jos only works an hour and a half a day. Annelies suffered a spinal injury due to stress. She says that EMDR, a trauma processing therapy, helps her very well. Yet they hardly walk the streets alone anymore.
