Peter van der Vorst and Renze Klamer are currently having a huge beef with each other, TV authority Tina Nijkamp suspects. “No, I think they’re having a fight. I really think they’re having a fight.”
According to critics, it is unprecedented that RTL 4 boss Peter van der Vorst chooses to continue TV monstrosity RTL Tonight over retaining his greatest talk show talent: Renze Klamer. The presenter has resigned from the program and is now sitting on the couch without work, while RTL Tonight continues to muddle through on the late evening of RTL 4.
‘They’re having a fight’
Johan Derksen takes into account a conspiracy. He thinks that Renze may be separated from RTL Tonight to prevent further damage to his image, after which he will simply return with Renze in the new year.
Does TV authority Tina Nijkamp think so too? “No, I think they are having a fight,” she says in the Today Inside from last night. “I really think they have a fight: Peter van der Vorst and Renze.”
‘A bit of mutiny’
Wilfred Genee doesn’t rule that out either. “He was mutinous a bit, already at the beginning of the season.”
Johan: “Peter van der Vorst is not in a position to argue, is he?”
Wilfred: “Renze didn’t like it that much at the beginning of the season, I heard in the corridors.”
Tina: “No, you also saw how he put his piece of paper on the table. You just saw it. Then Wiesje did those internet videos and you saw Renze thinking: did I build up my talk show for this for two years and now I have to present RTL Boulevard light?”
Dissatisfied
Johan agrees with that theory. “Yes, Renze had a very dissatisfied appearance. He looked indifferent and that is not Renze as we know him at all.”
Tina: “No, of course he was disappointed. Then he worked so hard and then you get this! Then you get to present the AliExpress version of RTL Boulevard! Yes, that’s not fun at all, is it?”
René van der Gijp concludes with a laugh: “That girl who comes through, she’s not much, is she? She’s also terrible. She has no added value either!”
