Cristiano Ronaldo scores a dream goal with an overhead kick

While he recently attracted negative attention in the national team, Cristiano Ronaldo is back in top form at club level. He scored for his team with an overhead kick.

Cristiano Ronaldo has once again proven his class. In his club Al-Nassr’s league game against Al-Khaleej, the Portuguese scored in stoppage time to make it 4-1 – and how: with an overhead kick from around twelve meters away.

The scene was strongly reminiscent of his highly publicized goal in the quarter-finals of the 2018 Champions League for Real Madrid at Juventus Turin. Ronaldo posted a video of his goal on the X platform and called on users: “The best caption wins.”

However, Ronaldo recently wrote negative headlines in the national jersey. In the 2-0 defeat in the European Championship qualifier against Ireland around a week and a half ago, he saw the red card for the first time in his 226th international match after an elbow strike against Dara O’Shea. He faces a ban at the start of the World Cup next summer.
