Geert Wilders becomes substitute chairman of the House of Representatives. Now that his party colleague Martin Bosma has lost the hammer and did not want to act as a reserve, Wilders is taking on that task himself, current Chamber President Thom van Campen announced on Thursday. The VVD member won the chairmanship election on Tuesday over Bosma and GL/PvdA MP Tom van der Lee. The PVV member then immediately announced that he would no longer act as ‘vice-chairman’, as he previously did.
