Joy Beune & co live up to their status as world champions again, rehabilitation for the men: bronze

One week is not like the other. While the Dutch pursuit teams were driven home during the first World Cup of the skating year, a week later in Calgary, the women in particular restored the balance of power. The world champions came first, the old-fashioned way. The men also did a lot better on the Canadian artificial ice than a week earlier in America. They even won bronze, making rehabilitation a fact.
